Abstract:A variety of advanced coal-fired gas turbine systems have been proposed for use in combined cycles for stationary power generation. The commercial acceptability of these power systems will depend upon the efficiency and reliability of the principal individual components. Strict requirements will be placed on the flow characteristics at the turbine inlet.
