“…The otherwise Palearctic genus Minyriolus was represented in the Neotropics by M. australis Simon, 1902; specimens of M. australis could not be located and it is considered nomen dubium . Oedothorax was represented in the Neotropics by seven species: O. bisignatus (Mello‐Leitão, 1945), O. dubia (O. Pickard‐Cambridge, 1898), O. ectrapela (Keyserling, 1886), O. esperanzae (Tullgren, 1901), O. fuegianus (Simon, 1902), O. michaelseni (Simon, 1902) and O. montevidensis (Keyserling, 1878). Six of these are transferred below to other genera, sometimes in other families, and some are synonymized with other species.…”
