Abstract:Large-scale operational trials of dieldrin lattices applied by aircraft for controlling hoppers of the red locust, Nomadacris septemfasciata (Serv.), were carried out in the North Eukwa outbreak area in south-western Tanganyika during 1958 and 1959.
