“…For the bulk KADP the strong tendency of decreasing of T C at increasing of APD concentration [9][10][11] exists, but the detail phase diagram stays ambiguous because the properties of bulk KADP essentially depend on preparation methods [12]. Concerning the thermal hysteresis value ∆T C in the position of T C on cooling and on heating, this factor remains unexplored until now.…”

“…The existence of structural glass state in the mixed crystals of ADP-KDP was attributed by several researchers and was mainly due to the random freezing of acid protons in the O-H…O hydrogen bonds [17,18]. Most of such works carried out on this system were only with very few compositions of the mixed crystals because of the non-availability of crystals from the complete range of mixing compositions grown with similar experimental conditions [19][20][21][22]. Growth behaviours of ADP-KDP mixed crystals in relation with crystal structure and chemical bonding interactions have been reported recently [23,24].…”

“…These glasses have positive linear and volume magnetostriction coefficients [3] and can be named "active host matrix" as they can participate in modification of macroscopic properties of embedded materials due to the appearance of additional strains on the interface "matrix-nanoparticle" upon magnetic field application. The phase diagram for the bulk KH 2 PO 4 (KDP) and (NH 4 )H 2 PO 4 (ADP) solid solutions (KADP) are known [4,5] and it is shown that a small admixture of ADP leads to a drastic decreasing of the ferroelectric phase transition temperature T C . In previous work [6] we studied the effect of restricted geometry on this phase transition for NCM based on conventional porous glasses (PG) with KADP at low ADP concentrations.…”
