Differential equations for the closed geometric crystal chains
Taichiro Takagi
Abstract:We present two types of systems of differential equations that can be derived from a set of discrete integrable systems which we call the closed geometric crystal chains. One is a kind of extended Lotka-Volterra systems, and the other seems to be generally new but reduces to a previously known system in a special case. Both equations are related to Lax equations associated with the loop elementary symmetric functions.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
