Abstract:Decompression illness is a rare complication of scuba diving. We report the case of a 29-year-old military man who was admitted to Emergency Department of General Hospital Douala a few minutes after a diving exercise, with complete dysphagia, dysphonia, rotatory vertigo, gait and balance disorder, and severe neck pain radiating along the back.
