Abstract:The photovoltaic effect in ferroelectric (FE) semiconductors, i.e., the FPV effect, is attracting increasing attention. However, the microscopic mechanism of the FPV effect is still largely unknown. Here, we investigated the effects of crystal structure, dielectric, FE, and domain features on the FPV effect in the 0.7BiFe 1−x Cr x O 3 -0.3BaTi 1−x Mn x O 3 (BFC-BTM) (0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.07) system.
