A total of 86 scientific articles published between 2006 and 2022 were reviewed. The results reveal a growing productivity of studies in recent times, which coincides with the period of confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which gave greater relevance to digital tools. It concludes with the importance of digital teacher training to respond to the needs of students in today's knowledge society with innovative and effective pedagogical proposals.
