Digital Image Watermarking at Different Levels of DWT using RGB Channels

Dr. Dayanand G. Savakar*,
Mr. Shivanand Pujar

Abstract: This paper presents a digital image watermarking scheme comprising of DWT transformation. Due to the common practice of creating the copy, transmitting and spreading the data duplication of the original data occurs. Digital image watermarking has the ability to provide a solution for the unauthorized duplication problem. The scheme designed and presented in this paper comprises of mainly two modules one for embedding the watermark within the cover image and another for retrieving the watermark from the waterma… Show more

“…The pre-calculated (norm) values for every one of the decided four parts will be merged in this step by suggesting a suitable equation for this purpose as follows 𝑤 = 2 1 × 𝑤 1 + 2 2 × 𝑤 2 + 2 3 × 𝑤 3 + 2 4 × 𝑤 4 …3 This equation assets various weight for each part but enlarges the value of difference if any pixel will be changed, so for matrix A the following results will be calculated 𝐻𝑉 1 = (10.4086 1.2890) 𝐻𝑉 2 = (13.…”

“…In paper [14] two techniques are used which are data hiding and ciphering, where the watermark is encrypted by using XOR operation and then embedded in the DWT domain, the results proved that the method is robust against many attacks. Paper [15] proposed a new method consisting of mainly two techniques, the first is discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and the second is least significant bit (LSB), the concealment process was done in three colors (RGB). The results proved the efficiency of the proposed method against attacks.…”
