Digital Photopatterning: Designing Functional Multipolymeric Patterning Films

Abstract: This study proposes a practical patterning technique, digital photopatterning, using a commercial LCD 3D printer to integrate polymeric materials with distinct properties. A parent cross-linked film swollen by additional monomers and a photo radical initiator is irradiated area-selectively using the 3D printer.
