Discussion on “Optimal Sequential Surveillance for Finance, Public Health, and Other Areas” by Marianne Frisén

Abstract: The article by Frisén gives an overview on the area of methods for statistical surveillance (applications, methods, optimality) and the comparison between methods is made easy by the derivation from partial likelihood ratios. The approaches for multivariate surveillance and nonparametric surveillance are the focus of the discussion.
