Distribution and Current State of Molecular Genetic Characterization in Pathogenic Free-Living Amoebae

Abstract: Free-living amoebae (FLA) are protozoa widely distributed in the environment, found in a great diversity of terrestrial biomes. However, few genera of FLA are linked to human infections.
