DNA damage in cumulus cells generated after the vitrification of in vitro matured porcine oocytes and its impact on fertilization and embryo development

Abstract: Oocyte vitrification has become an important tool for the improvement of assisted reproduction in humans and other mammalian species. The toxicity and use of high cryoprotectants concentrations have been a limiting factor for cryopreservation success.
