Abstract:Perinatal thrombocytopenia has been shown to affect responsiveness to therapeutic ductal closure with cyclo-oxygenase inhibitors. This has not been studied in responsiveness to acetaminophen, which has less effect on platelet function.
Objective: To evaluate whether thrombocytopenia affects ductal responsiveness to acetaminophen.
