The purpose of this article is to provide a comprehensive and systematic assessment of the literature on the consequences of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosure by means of content analyses. Using a systematic approach, a sample of 165 studies was collected from the Web of Science database and evaluated on the basis of econometric and content analyses, including publication trends, geographical distribution, theories and consequence associated with ESG disclosure (investment and innovation of firms, financing cost and method, operations and financial risk of firms, firm performance and value and others), provides some direction for future investigation. According to the analysis, the literature was more interested in the stakeholder theory when examining the effects of ESG disclosure on areas including company innovation and investment, financing costs and methods, financial risk and operations, business performance, and others. Even though most of the literature has focused on firm performance and value, there is still no clear understanding of the relationship. Also, limited work was found on the investment and innovation of firms, and financing cost and method, while the impact of operations and financial risk of firms has yet to be explored. Meanwhile, this study also identified the impact of ESG disclosure on analysts, audit fees, and earnings management as a new research direction. Finally, this study innovates new findings that institutional pressures may have an impact on the consequences of ESG disclosure, a topic not found in previous studies.

This study aims to examine the presence or absence of the effect of ESG Disclosure, Environmental Disclosure, Social Disclosure, Governance Disclosure, Audit Quality, and Internal Audit on Company Value. The population used in this study is companies listed on the IDX in several non-financial sectors, namely the energy, raw materials, health, industry, and infrastructure sectors in the 2020-2022 period that successively publish sustainability reports, annual reports, and financial statements for the fiscal year December 31. The total population in this study was 346 companies with the number sampled being 45 companies using purposive sampling techniques. The data was analyzed using regression panel data made into two models and processed using E-Views software version 9. The results of this study provide results that in model 1 ESG Disclosure, Audit Quality, Internal Audit partially affect Company Value. The results in model 2 provide results that Environmental Disclosure affects Company Value, Social Disclosure does not affect Company Value, Governance Disclosure does not affect Company Value, Audit Quality affects Company Value, Internal Audit does not affect company value. In model 1 and model 2, the Leverage control variable, ROE has a significant positive influence on Company Value, while Firm Size does not have a positive influence on Company Value

The competitiveness of financed intermediaries cannot be based exclusively on financial sustainability, i.e. the ability to create profit, but it is also necessary to acquire a transversal vision of sustainability focused on the three ESG dimensions. The paper intends to propose a reflection on the main impacts of the integration of ESG factors on business decisionmaking and operational processes in the financial sector. In this context, we try to understand what role FinTech can play in favor of greater sustainability. Furthermore, through an empirical analysis, some determinants relating to social, environmental, and governance issues are identified which influence the volume of financial resources moved in the factoring market at a European level.
