Public transportation modes are one of the essential means of transportation and must be developed. However, today the phenomenon that exists, the selection of motorcycles, is more interesting than the use of public transport. This paper aims to examine how efficient motorcycles compare to public transportation. The research method was a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents and interviews with Cipinang – Tebet (MT. Haryono). Data analysis is carried out using the Importance Performance Analysis method with the help of the Microsoft Excel application. The results showed that the importance-performance analysis was quite good. It was seen that the average importance level was 3.99, the satisfaction level was 3.56, and the GAP was -0.44. The highest GAP occurs in the Comport Capital parameter of -0.59. Meanwhile, based on the results of interviews shows that travelers prefer to use motorbikes instead of public transportation due to the mileage, travel time, and costs incurred.

Motorcycle numbers in Indonesia are growing rapidly and contribute 84.4% of total motor vehicles. The death numbers from road traffic accidents (RTA) involving motorcycles also increase to 74% of the deaths, including young motorcyclists. WHO reported that RTA is the leading cause of death for people aged between 5-29 years. A series of Revealed and Stated Preference surveys have been undertaken to explore the characteristics of young motorcyclist trips and their behaviors towards three different virtual parking schemes aimed at finding the best parking schemes to control motorcycle usage among young motorcyclists. Therefore, the number of young motorcyclist-related RTA could be reduced. The finding suggests that young motorcyclists preferred using off-street parking over on-street parking. The preferred distance between parking premises and activity centers is less than 50 meters. The offstreet parking would be selected instead of the on-street parking, although its price is higher. The Willingness to pay for each proposed parking scheme is IDR 3,373, IDR 3,509, and IDR 3,618. It is below the ability to pay, which is IDR 4,100. Thus, an on-street parking scheme with progressive pricing and a minimum base price of IDR 5,000 is proposed, where at least 30% of parking lots should be allocated for short-term parking. Finally, the proposed parking scheme must be supported by reliable public transport services based on the young motorcyclist preferences, which would be the direction of future research.

The waste materials generated from construction activities have an impact on the increasing costs incurred by contractors. As construction costs increase for each project, it poses a potential loss for the project, especially considering the significant amount of wasted materials. The aim of this research is to analyze the model of the influence of causes of leftover materials on construction cost losses in high-rise buildings in Jakarta. This study was conducted based on data collected from 12 distinct projects, with a total of 21 respondents. The sampling technique employed in this study utilized questionnaires. The design planning, material procurement, material handling, work implementation, and residual materials variables were found to have an impact on construction cost losses. Among these variables, material procurement and design planning were identified as the most influential factors contributing to construction cost losses. Construction cost losses were derived from indicators with the highest averages, specifically in the variable of leftover material procurement for indicator X2-1, with an average score of 5.19, and in the design planning variable for indicator X1-1, with an average score of 5.05. These indicators are related to "material orders" and "design changes," respectively.
