Abstract: Weed-insect interaction has been studied for decades to determine the role of weeds in insect infestation. This study investigated the impact of weed density on the population density of important leafhopper species (Cicadellidae: Hemiptera) and their egg parasitoid Anagrus atomus (L.) (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) in maize (Zea mays L.) planted as second crop in Şanlıurfa province, Türkiye during 2022 and 2023.
