Abstract:Molecular ferroelectric 3‐ammonioquinuclidinium‐NH4Cl3 (3‐AP‐NH4Cl3) crystals were prepared. DSC‐CP‐TG curves were studied and a small endothermic peak was discovered at 146 °C without obvious mass change. Dielectric properties were measured and a sharp peak was found at 146 °C in the dielectric constant versus temperature curve. Temperature‐dependent domain evolution was observed in situ by polarized light microscopy (PLM). The extinction‐variation temperature range agreed well with the phase transition tempe… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
