Dominant Communication Trends Determined by Nonparametric Statistics

Abstract: This paper addresses the use of the Spearman rank coefficient, a nonparametric statistical method, to estimate lateral autocorrelation and permeability trends. This approach provides an alternative to interference tests considering only production and injection rates.
