Abstract:A novel position location technique that requires a reduced number of scattered observation signals is presented in this paper. This technique infers the mobile's location based on measurements of angle of arrival (AOA), path length obtainable by time of arrival (ToA) measurements and Doppler Shifted Frequency (DSF). Based upon the principle of same Doppler collinearity, the proposed methodology describes feasible locating regions for scatterers which are collinear with the transmitter. The novelty and advanta… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
