Double beta decay experiments: past and present achievements

Abstract: Abstract. A brief history of double beta decay experiments is presented. The best currently running experiments (NEMO-3 and CUORICINO) and their latest results are described. The best measurements and limits for the 2νββ, 0νββ and 0νχ 0 ββ are summarized.
