Abstract:The feline ureter is susceptible to obstruction caused by various factors, including lithiasis, stenosis, neoplasia and retrocaval ureter. However, lithiasis stands as the primary cause, followed by ureteral strictures. Clinical manifestations in affected cats are often nonspecific, contingent upon the degree and laterality of obstruction, with azotaemia being a prominent consequence.
