“…The double orifice mitral valve (DOMV) is considered a rare congenital heart malformation due to the abnormal embryonic development of the endocardial cushion and myocardium, characterized by a two-channel atrioventricular valve in the left ventricle and accounting for about 0.05% of all congenital heart diseases [ 1 , 2 ].
