Abstract:An 83-year-old man underwent right colectomy with ileostomy because of Ogilvie syndrome with perforation of the ascending colon. After 10 days, the patient, who had multiple co-morbidities, had a myocardial infarction without ST-segment elevation. Our review of literature indicated duodenal lipoma is extremely rare. The symptoms are nonspecific and CT is the first choice for diagnosis. The treatment depends on the patient's condition as well as the size and position of the tumour.
