The loss of revenue or global loss in term of cost due to downtime conditions is always a concern for field operators. Prevailing wave conditions may suddenly appear during offloading operations, which will influence the overall process and may lead to downtime of operations. Severe weather can significantly impact downtime costs of offloading operations and cause a huge loss of revenue. This research work integrates the dynamic stability with downtime cost for LNG carrier in different location of Malaysian waters using real time metocean data. This study on downtime cost utilizes the real time and location-specific wave scatters, as well as limiting criteria of offloading in Malaysian waters. The dynamic roll stability of LNG carrier was investigated for ABS criteria in two depths of water at three real-time locations. Susceptible wave conditions had been identified along with downtime cost analysis. This domain of downtime cost study was further rendered into mathematical package in the form of graphical interfaces for field operators. This mathematical based graphical interface facilitates in predicting location-specific downtime cost charts and allows operator companies to determine the fiscal losses for different range of downtime days and various capacities of LNG carrier. Overall, this research contributes by linking dynamic stability with operating costs through real time metocean data in Malaysian waters.

With social development and population growth, people's demands for quality of life and quality of life are increasing, and higher requirements for drinking water safety have been put forward. Therefore, it is important to study and establish WE pollution loss assessment models for WE management work and reasonable economic policy formulation. However, most of the traditional models use a single factor as the input variable to assess the trend of pollutant concentration and the intensity of pollutant discharge; while the WE pollution loss assessment method based on energy value analysis theory uses a single factor as the input variable for energy value analysis to assess the intensity and concentration of pollutant discharge, but this method cannot handle multi-factor and multi-variable data, and can only use the fuzzy mathematics in However, this method cannot handle multi-factor and multi-variable data, and can only use fuzzy mathematics to evaluate and calculate the model; and it cannot deal with the non-linear relationship between multiple pollutants and single pollutant concentration at the same time. Therefore, in order to better solve the above problems, this paper proposes a neural network (NN) model based on the regional WE pollution loss energy assessment method; the method uses NNs to assess the energy value of a single factor; at the same time, the energy value of the regional pollution economic value is calculated to obtain the average energy value of the whole region; finally, the weighted average method is used to calculate the corresponding weighted average energy value of each unit and pollutant discharge intensity and other information. Finally, the weighted average method is used to calculate the weighted average energy value and the pollutant emission intensity of each unit. Compared with traditional methods, this method is not only better able to deal with multi-source data problems and non-linear relationships, but also more efficient in solving complex problems.

Vehicle accidents take human life all over the world particularly in developing countries like Pakistan. It is estimated that 1.2 million people lose their lives in road accidents every year. Apart from this, 20 to 50 million are injured on a yearly basis. This annual increase in the traffic accidents trend is alarming. To bring improvement in the current road network system, the specialists need to analyze the historical data of road crashes of an area. This research aims to use the visualization technique to have a better understanding of the accident data. This study uses the data of Peshawar, Pakistan, where the raw data were first organized, filtered, pre-processed and finally, visualization was performed to construct a systemic and homogenous data model. Various infographics were produced with the help of different software interface and visualization options. It was revealed that most of the accidents occur in the daytime and with those people who do not have enough traffic education. The 30 to 45 years age group was more active in causing the accidents. Therefore, the behaviour of this age group of drivers needs further investigation. This study will be useful for concerned authorities in devising an efficient mechanism to alleviate road accident cases.
