Drowning in antibiotics

Abstract: Introduction The National Confidential Enquiry into Perioperative Deaths (NCEPOD) report recommended that ‘fluid prescribing be given the same value as drug prescribing’, yet fluid prescription is commonly delegated to junior doctors despite being a notoriously challenging topic.
