Drug library screen identifies inhibitors of toxic astrogliosis

Abstract: Objective: Multiple sclerosis is a chronic neuroinflammatory disorder, in which activated immune cells directly or indirectly induce demyelination and axonal degradation. Inflammatory stimuli also change the phenotype of astrocytes, making them neurotoxic.
