Abstract:Background: Antimicrobial resistance is a global health crisis threatening optimal management of infectious diseases. Ciprofloxacin is a widely used fluoroquinolone in various disease conditions. Resistance against ciprofloxacin is increasing, leading to nonoptimal management of patients.
