Dual plasmon-Induced transparency in two-dimensional metamaterials with coupled resonators

Abstract: We herein report a numerical investigation of dual plasmon induced transparency (PIT) effect in two-dimensional plasmonic metamaterials composed of two C-shaped resonators and one U-shaped resonator. The finite difference time domain (FDTD) method is herein introduced to analyze transmission properties and electromagnetic field distributions of certain resonance wavelengths.
