Abstract:The authors present mathematical and simulation models of intelligent transportation systems (ITS). The models of two types are considered: the dynamic model of cargo transportation and agent-based model of the ITS — the ‘Manhattan grid’ type. The problem of rational railway planning related to research of cargo transportation models and corresponding cargo flows within the dynamic system is studied. The process of cargo transportation was modelled considering the mechanism of interactions with major railway i… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
