Dynamic effects of temperature-dependent aberration factors on the beam quality of LD end-pumped lasers

Abstract: Considering the temperature dependence of the thermal conductivity of the gain medium, the aberration factor of the thermal lens becomes a function of temperature. The influence of aberration factor on critical spot size is analyzed, the actual value of critical spot size is recalculated, and the range of beam quality deterioration is re-pointed.
