Abstract:This paper explores the thermal behavior of multiple interface cracks situated between a half-plane and a thermal coating layer when subjected to transient thermal loading. The temperature distribution is analyzed using the hyperbolic heat conduction theory. In this model, cracks are represented as arrays of thermal dislocations, with densities calculated via Fourier and Laplace transformations. The methodology involves determining the temperature gradient within the uncracked region, and these calculations co… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
