Abstract:For the first time, the contribution of electron-electron scattering to the electrical conductivity of plasma is calculated with simultaneous consideration of degeneracy and dynamic screening. A procedure for calculating electron-electron correlation functions used in the linear response theory in the formulation of Zubarev is developed. The Chebyshev polynomial expansion of the Fermi-Dirac distribution function is applied. Calculations were carried out in the random-phase approximation for the dielectric func… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
