Dynamical screening in the description of plasma transport properties with arbitrary degeneracy

Abstract

For the first time, the contribution of electron-electron scattering to the electrical conductivity of plasma is calculated with simultaneous consideration of degeneracy and dynamic screening. A procedure for calculating electron-electron correlation functions used in the linear response theory in the formulation of Zubarev is developed. The Chebyshev polynomial expansion of the Fermi-Dirac distribution function is applied. Calculations were carried out in the random-phase approximation for the dielectric function.
