Dynamics of cavitating tip vortex

Abstract: The three-dimensional dynamic behaviour of a tip vortex generated by a NACA $66_2$ -415 hydrofoil is investigated under wetted flow and cavitating conditions using time-resolved tomographic particle image velocimetry.
