Knowledge gives a strong support to autonomous agents in multi-agent systems and thus the evolution of agent's knowledge needs a great attention since it has a control on agents' behaviors and has effect on their decisions making. The problem is to allow agents to detect and decide whether they need more domain knowledge and allow their knowledge to evolve consistently and automatically. This paper utilizes ontologies to represent the internal knowledge of agents instead of utilizing them only as a shared conceptualization. Consequently, the paper proposes a model of bottom-up instance-driven ontology evolution that allows the internal ontologies of agents to evolve automatically and consistently in run time based on agents' interactions. Experiments are designed and implemented to evaluate our model in different situations. One of its results shows that an empty internal ontology of one agent could evolve automatically in runtime by 88.3% through its interactions with other agents. Moreover, a comparison between the proposed approach and literature review approaches is presented to compare between their different features and techniques. This paper is considered a step forward to automate ontology evolution for agents in multiagent environment.

Abstract-This paper presents an automated ontology framework for service robots. The framework is designed to automatically create an ontology and an instance of concept in dynamic environment. Ontology learning from text is applied to build a concept hierarchy using WordNet which provides a rich semantic processing for physical objects. The Automated Ontology is composed of four modules: Concept Creation, Property Creation, Relationship Creation and Instance of Concept Creation. The automated ontology algorithm was implemented in order to create the concept hierarchy in the Robot Ontology. The Semantic Knowledge Acquisition represents knowledge of physical objects in dynamic environments. In simulation experiments, the list of object names and property names was identified. The result shows the concept hierarchy which represents explicit terms and the semantic knowledge of physical objects for performing everyday manipulation tasks.

Ontology is presently an emerging research topic in the field of artificial intelligence, semantic web, and natural language processing, software engineering, and information architecture etc. Manual Ontology building is essentially a time consuming and tedious task. From the last few decades, different ontology building approaches are being used to build ontology either semi-automatically or automatically. This paper review has been carried out/done on the usage of different ontology building approaches in natural language processing and their usage on Indian languages. It is hereby concluded from the review that in Indian languages usage of ontology is very less because of the challenges to build ontology for minority languages.
