Early orthognathic surgery with postsurgical bone-anchored retention in unilateral cleft lip and palate: A case report

Abstract: We present a case report of early Le Fort I osteotomy with maxillary advancement retained postoperatively by Class III elastics anchored on miniplates in growing patients with complete unilateral cleft lip and palate (UCLP). A 14-year-old boy who underwent orthognathic surgery at the pubertal growth spurt was presented.
