Earthquake Disaster Mitigation Mapping By Modeling of Land Layer and Site Effect Zone in The Kota Baru of South Lampung

Abstract: Kota Baru is the satellite city of Bandar Lampung. The city is prepared for the expansion of the city of Bandar Lampung. Zonation map of earthquake risk is required for Kota Baru due to its location within the reach of earthquake energy of Semangko subduction fault. In this study, we model the earthquake-prone zone map based on the soil characteristics (site effect) combined with the underground layer model to get a detailed description of the horizontal and vertical soil character. The microtremor method is p… Show more

“…Participants expected to attend this activity are stakeholders, policymakers, resource persons, and water users according to their respective capacities. This activity aims to define or limit the scope of objectives and measurement, the scope of the strategy that can be used to achieve the objectives, the scope of uncertainty that will affect the successful use of the strategy, and the scope of the relationship that will help demonstrate the process of using measurement (Haerudin et al, 2019).…”

“…The results obtained in the form of a dominant frequency value associated with the depth of the field of seismic wave reflection, which is the boundary between loose sediment and bedrock. The smaller value of the frequency, the thicker sedimentary conditions [10]. While the amplification value is related to the magnification of seismic waves due to significant differences in the level of density between the layers.…”

“…Natural frequency is the frequency value that appears frequently, recognized as the natural frequency value of a measurement area. The dominant frequency value can indicate the type and characteristics of rocks in an area (Haerudin, N, et al, 2019). The dominant frequency value is related to the depth of the reflected layer in the subsurface, which is the boundary between the sedimentary layer and the bedrock so that it can describe the thickness of the sedimentary layer composed of the sedimentary layer (Hariansyah et al, 2020).…”
