“…The identification and characterization of the types of representative geoecosystems should serve as a strategic scheme for a systemically built plan for the preservation of representative conditions and forms of life in a given territory. From a practical point of view, it should serve as an ecologically founded systemic basis for designing new protected areas (by analyzing which representative geoecosystems are at risk and what types of representative geoecosystems are inadequately protected), strengthening the management of nature conservation, as well as the systematic designing biocentres and biocorridors of supra-regional and regional level within the creation of the territorial system of ecological stability (TSES) (Miklós et al, 2018).
