Cognitive institutions are conceptually founded on the philosophy of mind notion of extended mind, broadened to also include the distinctly social, institutional, and normative dimensions. “…More radical embodied approaches can prove their merit in this new field in particular the more we switch from the explanation of phenomena at the individual level to those at the collective and social level. Just to make one instance, the study of rationality in institutional settings like markets seems to be addressable in new ways through radical embodied approaches (see Clark, 1997 ; Gallagher et al, 2019 ; Petracca and Gallagher, 2020 ).…”

“…Only recently, some initial attempts have been made to extend the application of enactivism to macro-social phenomena. Relevant examples are Maise and Hanna's enactive approach to political science and politics (2019), and a few attempts to take an enactive approach to institutions and economics (Petracca and Gallagher, 2020;Ransom and Gallagher, 2020). “…In doing so, the first points to consider in terms of convergence of individual enactivism and macro-social phenomena are that even macro-social phenomena-such as FridaysForFuture and others-have identity and intentionality, intrinsic beliefs, norms, and thoughts, and demonstrate future-oriented, predictive behavior framed in a way that is meaningful for the network (Petracca and Gallagher, 2020;Ransom and Gallagher, 2020). Such networks are of necessity embodied by specific individuals, embedded in a given physical and social environment, and enacted in the real world through consciousness and intentionality.…”

“…Изучение коммуникационного и дискурсивного конструирования институтов, в том числе влияния когнитивных норм и правил на институциональную эволюцию и поведение акторов. В этой области следует опираться на дискурсивный, риторический, коммуникативный институционализмы, а также внимательно следить за постнортовской программой исследований когнитивных экономических институтов 9 (Petracca, Gallagher, 2020).…”
