Economic Impact Analysis on Industrialization of Land Nodal

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to calculate the economic impact of the development of land nodal. We applied an input-output analysis method to quantify the economic impact of the production and sale of land nodal. This research differs from other economic impact analysis studies in that it analyzes the cost structure of the product and reflects it in the industrial relation table, and uses market size and macroeconomic variables to create a 2030 input-output table using the RAS method. The results show that the coefficient of production inducement in 2030 from the development of land nodal is 2.164, which is higher than the average of all industries. Forward and backward linkage coefficients are 0.849 and 1.102, respectively, indicating that the backward linkage effect was relatively high compared to the forward linkage effect. The result allows us to expect that the development of the land nodal will have a high economic impact on the domestic industries in the future.
