This study explores how educational psychology can empower individuals and organizations to embrace sustainable practices. Considering the complex challenges of achieving sustainable development (balancing economic growth with environ‐mental health and social well‐being), the research investigates the field's potential in developing essential skills and mindsets. Through a systematic literature review and Vietnamese higher education case studies, the study examines how educational psychology principles can be incorporated into curriculum design, pedagogy, and evaluation methodologies. The research focuses on fostering pro‐environmental behavior, sustainable leadership, and social awareness/inclusiveness. Qualitative analysis, including thematic and content analysis, unveils strategies to equip individuals with the skills needed to navigate the complexities of sustainable development. The research analyzes successful applications of educational psychology in both business and societal sustainability efforts. It demonstrates how psychological principles can motivate individuals and organizations toward sustainable practices, design interventions for behavioral change, and build collaborative cultures that address social inequities.
