Effect of basal texture on small crack behavior of magnesium alloy in very high cycle fatigue regime

Abstract: The behavior of small cracks in magnesium alloy is key to understanding very high cycle fatigue (VHCF), which is influenced by microstructure and deformation mechanism. This study explores how basal texture affects VHCF failure mechanisms in extruded magnesium alloys.
