Abstract:Hormonal manipulation has been proposed as a possible new approach to the treatment of pancreatic cancer. We studied the effect of orchiectomy and testosterone replacement on early stage pancreatic carcinogenesis induced by diisopropanolnitrosamine (DIPIN) in Syrian golden hamsters.
