Synthesis and thermal stability study of cobalt hydroxynitrate in different polytypic modifications

The results provide a new insight into the classification of polytypism in layered metal hydroxysalts especially for cobalt based compounds.Cobalt based hydroxysalts were prepared by following the procedure reported in references [11,17].
