Abstract:This study demonstrates the effect of different binders on the power characteristics of carbon fluorides (CFx) cathode material for power-type lithium primary batteries. Specifically, polymer binders, such as polyacrylic latex (LA133), poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) are utilized in the preparation of CFx composite electrodes.
