Effect of Different Host Plants on Some Biological Aspects of the Spider Mite Tetranychus Cucurbitacearum (Sayed)

Abstract: he influence of three host plants (peanut, cotton and maize) on the developmental stages and fecundity of Tetranychus cucurbitacearum (Sayed) was significant effect on some biological aspects of T. cucurbitacearum (Sayed). Peanut was the most favorite one for T. cucurbitacearum, giving high fecundity (120.61 egg / female) while maize was the least favorite; while the total deposited eggs was 61.84 eggs.
