Effect of friction stir processing parameters on the microstructure and properties of ZK60 magnesium alloy

Abstract: Friction stir processing is an important method for acquiring ultrafine-grained materials. In this paper, 3mm ZK60 magnesium alloy sheet was carried for friction stir processing. The best processing parameters with a small grain size and maximum mechanical properties were obtained by comparing different rotation speeds and processing speeds. Fine recrystallized grains and high-angle grain boundaries were observed in stirring zone under different processing parameters. With increasing rotation speed, the grain … Show more

“…Wei et al (Wei et al 2020b ) and Hu et al (Hu et al 2022a ) used Raman spectroscopy to characterize the disorder of the structure. In their conclusions, the good soot oxidation reactivity repeatedly emphasized three key structural parameters, namely, short fringe length (L a ), long fringe separation distance (D s ) and high curvature (T f ) (Hu et al 2022b ). However, in the experiment of Zhang et al (Zhang et al 2019a ), the oxidation reactivity of soot did not show obvious linearity or correlation with the measured value of Raman spectrum.…”

“…The resulting biodiesel is quite similar to conventional diesel in its main characteristics [57], and there are several generally accepted technologies for the production of biodiesel, such as transesterification [58], micro-emulsification [59], direct use, blending of oils, and pyrolysis [60]. Furthermore, some new technologies such as microwave-assisted reactions [61] and micro-algal biotechnology [62] were also used for biodiesel production. Therefore, this section mainly reviewed different biodiesel production technologies used for biodiesel production.…”

“…With the development of society, people's demand for energy is also increasing 41,42 . In addition, with the intensification of the energy crisis and environmental pollution, the development and utilization of clean and sustainable energy have become a hot spot for research 43–45 . In this study, a CFD model of the engine cylinder was established by AVL‐Fire software, and the effects of different diesel/biodiesel/ n‐ butanol blending ratios on the combustion and emission characteristics of diesel engines were investigated.…”
