Abstract:G OSSYPOL is a poisonous yellow polyphenolic pigment found in cotton plants (Gossypium spp.), which inhibits animal reproduction. Gossypol also affects steroidogenesis, nuclear maturation, follicular size, granulosa cell proliferation, and steroidogenic activity.
