Effect of Hall Current on MHD Natural Convection Heat and Mass Transfer Flow of Rotating Fluid Past a Vertical Plate With Ramped Wall Temperature

Abstract: A study on unsteady MHD natural convection flow of an optically thin, heat radiating, incompressible, viscous, chemically reactive, temperature dependent heat absorbing and electrically conducting fluid past an exponentially accelerated infinite vertical plate having ramped temperature, embedded in a porous medium is carried out, considering the effects of Hall current and rotation. Governing equations are non-dimensionalized and Laplace Transform Technique is used to find the exact solutions for non-dimension… Show more

“…The investigation of simultaneous Soret and Dufour effects on a two‐dimensional MHD free convective flow of an electrically conducting, viscous, and incompressible viscoelastic fluid over a nonlinearly stretching surface with Navier's partial velocity slip boundary condition has been carried out by Seth et al 47 Seth et al 48 discussed the numerical simulation of the Newtonian heating effect on an unsteady MHD flow of Casson fluid past a flat vertical plate, considering the impact of viscous dissipation, Joule heating, thermal diffusion, and n th order chemical reaction. “…Stanford Shateyi (2017) has been stated that heat and mass transfer for natural convection MHD flow over a permeable moving vertical plate with convective boundary condition in the presence of viscous dissipation. Seth et al, (2017) examined that effect of hall current on MHD natural convection heat and mass transfer flow of rotating fluid past a vertical plate with ramped wall temperature. Arifuzzaman et al (2017) analyzed that MHD maxwell fluid flow in presence of nano-particle through a vertical porous-plate with heat-generation, radiation absorption and chemical reaction.…”

“…The effects of radiation and Hall currents on an unsteady MHD free convective flow in a perpendicular duct packed with an absorbent medium have been explored by Krishna et al 19 The heat production or assimilation and thermodiffusion in an unsteady free convective MHD flow of a radiative and chemical reactive second‐grade fluid over an infinite perpendicular surface in a porous medium, considering the Hall current, have been researched by Krishna and Chamkha 20 . The unsteady MHD natural convection flow of an optically thin, heat‐radiating, incompressible, viscous, chemically reactive, temperature‐dependent, heat‐absorbing, and electrically conducting fluid past an exponentially accelerated infinite vertical plate, with ramped temperature, embedded in a porous medium has been analyzed by Seth et al 21 Bhattacharya et al 22 discussed the nature of a two‐dimensional MHD flow of an electroconductive and thermally radiating viscoelastic fluid past a nonlinear stretching surface, considering viscous and Joule dissipation using the optimal homotopy analysis method. Seth et al 23 investigated the unsteady MHD flow with the Hall effect of a viscous, incompressible, and electrically conducting fluid past a porous flat plate with an accelerated moving free stream in a rotating system.…”
