For example, Chen [14] verified the applicability of the Stern-Geary equation for the macrocell corrosion of reinforced concrete, and Li [15] found that corrosion will occur earlier and damage the structure more severely at the site where the macrocell effect occurs, and Lliso−Ferrando [16] found that the poorer the concrete quality and the smaller the cover layer, the greater the effect of the macrocell.
